SMARTER BUSINESS FOR A BETTER WORLD

Magic Wavelength is a progressive Agtech engineering and technology company.

Agtech markets are rapidly expanding as productivity gains are essential to cater for an additional two billion people by 2050, and against the backdrop of environmental climate change.

Digital Agriculture is now at the cusp of an evolution with the recent rise of Agtech, together with downward trends in cost.

Magic Wavelength’s focus is on bringing innovative solutions to the agricultural and consumer markets, advancing proven technology and leveraging technological advances to develop lower-cost solutions to reach the many farmers and gardeners around the globe.

Our core business is the development of novel sensors and instruments for non-invasive monitoring of plant health critical in improving productivity and efficiencies in the use of precious resources.

Our vision is to bring positive change to our world by transforming Agtech into commercial reality and making a significant difference in sustainable agriculture and home gardening. What we do ticks many of the boxes around environmental and social obligations. Read more about our ESG proposition.

Our business model is to reach both the B2B (agricultural) and B2C (consumer) markets with two distinct products using the same baseline technology.

We have a managed growth strategy.

The first stage will see our consumer product, PlantTell, launch first in Australia as pilot, bringing the company’s first revenue streams.  Our modelling provides for a gradual and conservative start to sales and adjusted for seasonality.

The Marketing and Communications (MARCOMs) Strategy will target three distinct phases: education, awareness and then conversion to sales. Once tested and entrenched, we will target similar markets such as New Zealand, the USA and UK as we refine our sales pitch, optimise logistics and customer support. Global expansion will be staged and managed in line with solid risk management strategies and policies.

Our supply chain will see us use the best talent and maximise efficiencies in design, componentry manufacturing, assembly and distribution by not centralising in one country. By doing this, we also mitigate risks.

In parallel, we will be finalising the development of agricultural / industrial product, AgTell.  The business strategy is to develop a fully integrated drone/sensor platform providing vital spatial crop information at the lowest cost per square meter ($/m2)  of farmland.
